Google is a hugely popular website dominating the search results in many countries of the world including the UK. Did you know you can use them to publish a website for free? Yes they have Google sites which allows you to select from a list of free templates and easily create a passable website in minutes. Here is one I prepared earlier as they say!
OK its not fantastic but it is free and Google does have a good reputation so its not likely to go out of business tomorrow and so on.
If you need a place holder type of site to get you up and going then this certainly does the trick.
